Suzana joined the Zivko Mijatovic & Partners (ZMP) Serbia legal team in 2022.
She specializes in enforcing trademarks, industrial designs, and copyrights, as well as handling dispute resolution. Suzana provides valuable legal advice on various IP matters and represents clients before Serbian courts and other state bodies.
Before joining ZMP, Suzana worked as an attorney at law with one of the most prominent law firms in the Western Balkans, where she gained extensive experience in corporate/M&A, commercial and energy law, complex commercial litigation, and competition and media law. She combines in-depth knowledge of commercial law and a keen understanding of business with her expertise in IP to offer comprehensive and efficient legal advice.
During her Bachelor’s studies, Suzana completed internships at a reputable Belgrade law firm, the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), and the State Attorney’s Office of the Republic of Serbia. These experiences provided her with valuable skills and knowledge in dispute resolution, economic development, and public policy creation.
Suzana is currently pursuing an LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property Law, focusing on patents, trademarks, and geographical indications.
She has also participated in the General Course on Intellectual Property organized by the WIPO Academy. Additionally, she is a member of Young ICCA, a leading arbitration knowledge network for young practitioners and students, under the auspices of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA).
