Our team continues to actively participate in training sessions throughout the region. Colleagues from the ZMP North Macedonia office, Maja Kosteska and Aleksandar Bogojevski, participated in an event organized by the North Macedonian Market Inspectorate and funded by the European Union, titled “Strengthening the Internal Market.” This three-day training course, held in three different cities, brought together over 60 market inspectors from various cities across North Macedonia.
Our North Macedonian colleagues conducted training sessions focused on identifying counterfeit products, specifically designed for inspectors tasked with seizing counterfeit goods in the marketplace. They represented four brands from ZMP’s client roster, predominantly from the fashion industry, showcasing types of counterfeit products commonly encountered in our market.
In addition to the practical training, discussions also covered the current legal challenges and potential improvements related to this area of the law. We are very pleased that the event generated a lot of interest, and we look forward to organizing and participating in similar training sessions and events in the future.
