Managing IP launched its official Rising Stars list for 2021. This special publication, produced by IP STARS research team, recognizes some of the best up-and-coming intellectual property practitioners, based on the information obtained during the research for the 2021 edition of IP STARS rankings and MIP Awards program. This year, it features more than 50 jurisdictions.
ZMP at Rising Stars list for 2021
ZMP is proud to present three of its recognized 2021 Stars:
Marija Markićević Pijević – Trademark Star, Patent Star
Marija Markićević Pijević is Head of ZMP Serbia who joined the firm in 1997. Marija has over 20 years’ experience in trademark and patent prosecution and litigation matters. She has extensive experience in providing legal assistance to domestic and international clients on all matters relating to IP rights and unfair competition, as well as dispute resolution. She manages domestic clients’ IP portfolios with a proactive and strategic approach to their rights’ protection and enforcement.
Vladimir Marenović – Trademark Star, Patent Star
Vladimir Marenović is Head of ZMP legal department. He is a senior associate who has worked in ZMP for fifteen years. Vladimir has extensive experience in advising international clients on all matters relating to copyright, trademarks, designs, domains and unfair competition. Through his career he specialized in IP litigation. Today, he oversees enforcement matters in all the countries of the region, providing expert advice and legal assistance in counterfeiting matters among others.
Ivana Knežević – Trademark Star
Ivana Knežević is Patent & Trademark Attorney in ZMP Croatia who joined ZMP in 2012. She has over 10 years’ experience in trademark prosecution and anti-counterfeiting matters. Ivana is the point of contact for many of the firm’s largest clients in customs and anti-counterfeiting matters, providing them with immediate service that draws on her extensive knowledge of customs legislation in the region’s jurisdictions. In addition, she oversees IP matters in Croatia, providing expert advice and legal assistance in all matters related to IP.
